Enhance Virtual Learning This Fall
Are you preparing for the possibility of school closures this fall? Ideally that won’t happen, but you never know.

Thanks to a new Pinna feature — class codes — one teacher membership can be applied to the whole class.
With a unique code, families can access a classroom membership at home between the hours of 8am-4pm.
This free feature allows teachers to provide students with screen-free access to educational materials at home while opening the door to a fun and engaging virtual school experience.
Learn Core Subjects and Electives in a New and Engaging Way
Ditch the textbooks — or computer screens! — and try teaching core subjects and electives in a new way.
ELA, mathematics, science, social studies, art, financial literacy...these subjects can all be covered by listening to audio content on Pinna and completing the extension activities available on the website.
Here are a few examples to get you started.
- Teach the alphabet with Quentin and Alfie’s ABC Adventures. The handy teacher guide takes you step-by-step through how to incorporate this engaging podcast into your letter lesson plans. Print out the companion worksheets to reinforce the lessons taught in each episode.
- Discuss current events and teach media literacy while listening to the popular TIME for Kids Explains podcast with your class. Try some hands-on activities from the resources provided: create a class newsletter or podcast, feature stories from the podcast or magazine as real-life examples in non-fiction writing assignments, or pick a charitable cause to support like the kids in the “Find the Good” segment.
- Learn all about animal science while listening to Kyle’s Wild World. Kyle’s Wild World is an interactive variety show geared toward a younger audience. - Get the creative juices flowing with Anytime Art. Anytime Art is an all-ages art class consisting of 10 week-long art projects using different mediums. Encourage budding artists with additional activities provided in the Anytime Art teacher guide.
